Advert Africa Terms of Use for Sellers

1. Introduction

Welcome to Advert Africa, a multi-vendor ecommerce platform. By registering as a seller and using our services, you agree to comply with the terms and conditions set forth on this platform. These Terms of Use constitute a legally binding agreement between you (the "Seller") and Advert Africa.

2. Seller Eligibility

To become a seller on Advert Africa, you must be legally capable of entering into a binding contract and comply with all applicable laws and regulations. You must provide accurate and up-to-date information during the registration and  verification process.

3. Seller Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information, including your password. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify Advert Africa immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Listing and Selling

Sellers may list products for sale on Advert Africa's platform in accordance with our listing guidelines.

You agree to ensure that all products listed are accurately described and meet the quality standards required by Advert Africa.

Advert Africa reserves the right to remove any listings that violate our guidelines or applicable laws.

5. Pricing and Payments

You are responsible for setting the price of your products. Prices must be inclusive of all applicable taxes and fees.

Advert Africa will deduct a 2% commission on the total sales amount of each transaction. This commission is used for the maintenance and operation of the platform.

Payments will be processed through Advert Africa's payment system, and you will receive the net amount (after deducting the commission) in your designated account.

6. Shipping and Fulfillment

Sellers are responsible for shipping products to buyers in a timely and efficient manner.

You must provide accurate shipping information and ensure that products are packaged securely to prevent damage during transit.

Advert Africa may offer integrated shipping solutions, and you agree to use these services if provided.

7. Returns and Refunds

Sellers are required to have a clear return and refund policy that complies with applicable consumer protection laws.

You agree to handle returns and refunds promptly and fairly, in accordance with your policy and Advert Africa's guidelines.

Advert Africa reserves the right to mediate disputes between sellers and buyers.

8. Prohibited Products and Activities

Sellers may not list or sell any products that are illegal, counterfeit, or otherwise prohibited by Advert Africa's guidelines.

You agree not to engage in any fraudulent or deceptive practices, including manipulating feedback or ratings.

9. Intellectual Property

Sellers must respect the intellectual property rights of others. You may not list products that infringe on any third-party intellectual property rights.

Advert Africa reserves the right to remove any listings that violate intellectual property laws.

10. Termination of Account

Advert Africa reserves the right to terminate or suspend your account if you violate these Terms of Use or any applicable laws.

You may also terminate your account by providing written notice to Advert Africa. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the platform.

11. Limitation of Liability

Advert Africa is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to loss of sales or profits.

Advert Africa does not guarantee the uninterrupted availability of the platform and may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the services at any time.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Advert Africa, its affiliates, officers, and employees from any claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses arising from your use of the platform or breach of these Terms of Use.

13. Governing Law

These Terms of Use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of Ghana. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved in the courts of Ghana.

14. Amendments

Advert Africa reserves the right to amend these Terms of Use at any time. Sellers will be notified of any changes, and continued use of the platform after such notification will constitute acceptance of the amended terms.
